Underrated feature
The Royal Guest Rooms (Cinderella / Tiana / Princess-themed) have interactive headboards with fiber-optic lighting — a hit with kids and unique to Riverside.
The gotcha
Riverside is large. The Magnolia Bend mansion buildings are beautiful but can put you a 10-minute walk from the food court and pools. Ask for Alligator Bayou for better walkability.
