Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
The most romantically themed Deluxe — tiki torches, Dole Whip, and monorail access to Magic Kingdom in a 5-minute ride.
Who it’s for
- Couples who want a tropical atmosphere with world-class Magic Kingdom access
- Families who grew up loving the Polynesian's luau and want the full immersive experience
- Guests who want the monorail AND a dramatically themed resort (Contemporary is monorail but modern)
Who it’s NOT for
- EPCOT or Hollywood Studios focused trips — no Skyliner and no walkable back entrance
- Families who need rooms for 6 or more (standard rooms cap at 5)
- Budget-sensitive Deluxe seekers — Polynesian consistently prices at a premium

Underrated feature
The Spirit of Aloha dinner show is a 2-hour all-you-can-eat luau on the beach — most guests don't discover it until their second or third trip and wish they'd booked it earlier.
The gotcha
The overwater Polynesian bungalows look stunning in photos but are DVC and booked years out. Standard longhouse rooms are the practical option for most guests.
