Disney's Coronado Springs Resort & Gran Destino Tower
The quiet overachiever of the Moderate tier — a convention hotel at heart that punches above its price with the stunning Gran Destino Tower.
Who it’s for
- Couples and adults who want a calmer, less kid-centric Moderate
- Guests who want full sit-down dining at a Moderate price (Toledo rooftop restaurant is excellent)
- Longer-stay guests who want a quieter, more resort-like atmosphere
Who it’s NOT for
- Young families who want high-energy theming and big pool slides
- Magic Kingdom focused trips (bus only, one of the longer rides)
- Guests who want proximity to Disney Springs or EPCOT nightlife

Underrated feature
Gran Destino Tower rooms on upper floors have stunning lake views and (on clear nights) distant fireworks. The rooftop bar is genuinely beautiful and underutilized.
The gotcha
This is a convention hotel first — you may share the lobby and pool with business conference attendees. Not ideal if you specifically wanted a pure family-vacation feel.
