Disney's Art of Animation Resort
The best Value resort by far — huge family suites, the best pool at any Value tier, and immersive theming that rivals some Moderates.
Who it’s for
- Families with young kids obsessed with Finding Nemo, Cars, or The Lion King
- Families of 5–6 who need the suite (sleeps 6 with a real pull-down bed)
- First-timers who want to feel immersed in Disney even at the Value price point
- Hollywood Studios and EPCOT focused trips via the Skyliner
Who it’s NOT for
- Small groups of 1–2 in a Little Mermaid standard room (tiny — no sleep sofa)
- Guests who hate crowds — it's one of the busiest Value resorts
- Magic Kingdom devotees (bus only, long ride)

Underrated feature
The Big Blue Pool has a sub-level viewing area through underwater windows — young kids go absolutely wild for it, and most guests walk right past it.
The gotcha
The Little Mermaid standard rooms are the smallest rooms on property — smaller than some closets. Unless you're booking a suite, Pop Century next door often makes more sense.
